Davidson Lands Conservancy is excited to host Spring NatureFest on Saturday, May 20th from 10 am – 12 pm at Roosevelt Wilson Park.

Come experience the joy of nature through live animal demonstrations, fishing, and other activities free to all! NatureFest is an opportunity to learn about the many special plant and animal species that call North Carolina home. From spiders to owls to prairie flowers, NatureFest has something for everyone to explore as you stroll through Roosevelt Wilson Park. The park is conveniently located at 420 Griffith St. in the heart of Davidson.  Frozen treats and beverages will be available for purchase from Queens Ice food truck.

DLC community partners include Carolina Raptor Center, NC Wildlife Federation, Mecklenburg County Parks & Rec., Schiele Musuem, Native Plant Society, Davidson College, Davidson K8 School, Stephen Hughes’ Live Animals, World of Wonder, Catawba Riverkeepers, Woodlawn STEAMfest, Bartlett Tree Service, My Monarch Butterflies, Town of Davidson, and Mecklenburg County Beekeepers.

We are grateful to our generous sponsor Davidson Garden Club for supporting this opportunity to come together as a community to learn and support biodiversity in our region.
