DESCRIPTION:Voting starts Monday\, December 1st for the 2025 Rotary Club Christmas in Davidson Giving Tree Village!  It runs through Saturday\, December 13th at 4 pm.  Vote for DLC! \n\nOur generous partners at Bartlett Tree Experts are sponsoring our Rotary Club of Davidson’s Giving Tree Village Tree again and we have a beautiful one in the works! Karen Holmes and Kelly Kasten of Davidson Flower Company are designing our tree\, and we will be using a live one again that will be planted after WE WIN!  Help us out by 1) Calling Bartlett Tree Experts for all of your tree care needs.  2) Stopping by the Giving Tree Village during Christmas in Davidson (Dec. 4-6) and voting for our tree.  3) If you can’t make it to Christmas in Davidson\, look for our social media posts with links to vote from your phone.\n\nVisit our gorgeous tree at the Davidson Town Green from today through Saturday\, December 13th. The only LIVE tree in the bunch. After she’s finished wowing visitors at the Giving Tree Village she will be planted in Davidson to add to our amazing canopy. SUMMARY:Wilderness Calling:  Prior Property Hike
DESCRIPTION:One of our newest additions to DLC’s conserved properties is the Prior property near Pine Lake Prep.  It is a beautiful piece of land with a remarkable amount of biodiversity.  The Priors have worked hard to support and conserve its natural resources and beauty.  Join DLC in December to hear a brief a talk about the Prior’s experince conserving and caring for their property and then a 45-60 minute hike through the woods. Good walking shoes are required.  This will be on uneven ground so a moderate fitness level is required.  A walking pole is encouraged and please bring water. \nSign-up is required here and by signing-up you are agreeing to our waiver which can be found in the sign-up description.
