SUMMARY:The Big Spring Clean Stream Cleanup
DESCRIPTION:Join DLC in a county-wide effort to clean up our streams and waterways on March 26 from 9:00 am to 12:00  noon at 420 Griffith St\, Davidson\, NC 28036\, Roosevelt Wilson Park. Removing trash from waterways is critical to protect wildlife and ensure better water quality. This is an excellent opportunity for families\, teens\, and adults to take part in a community-wide day of service. Please wear work gloves\, long pants\, and shoes that can get wet. SUMMARY:Rewilding at Fisher Farm - A Guided Hike with Andy Kane
DESCRIPTION:Join us\, March 26 from 2 to 4 pm\, to learn about\, and contribute to\, a re-wilding vision for Fisher Farm.  While slow hiking the Park\, we’ll review a vision for enhancing the wildlife value of the landscape by planting or restoring native grasses\, planting trees\, and removing invasive plants.  Participants will learn about the value of ecosystem diversity and native plants\, and the restorative power of nature – principles that work in nearly any landscape\, including yards.
