SUMMARY:World of Wonder and Davidson College Star Party
DESCRIPTION:Join WOW in experiencing the wonder of the stars.  The Davidson College Physics Department and Astronomy class invite you to a Star Party on Saturday\, October 22.  Bring your family for a fun and educational evening learning about astronomy and viewing the stars.  The event will begin with interactive exhibits and games led by the College’s astronomy class in the Blanche Knox Parker Esplanade between the Dana and Watson science buildings from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.  The exhibits will be followed by nighttime stargazing on the campus lawn from 7:30 – 9:00 pm.  Please click HERE to sign up. DESCRIPTION:Come experience the Run For Green races!  Our course is in the beautiful small town of Davidson\, North Carolina.  Be careful\, though\, it is so charming\, you may just want to move!  This year is our 17th Annual Running Event.  We could not be more excited to bring you the quality race that you have come to expect. Our course winds it’s way through lovely little neighborhoods with long stretches out in the woods on the greenway where you can take in the serenity of nature.  Expect to encounter a hill or two\, this is not what we would call a flat course. But\, we will do our best to keep you motivated the whole way as you enjoy your run and the spirit of competition! \n  \nRegister TODAY!
