ABOUT US

OUR MISSION

Davidson Lands Conservancy’s mission is to conserve local land and water, connect lives to nature, and promote stewardship of natural resources.

We advance our mission by conserving local land and water in perpetuity; enhancing wildlife habitat and tree canopy; improving parks, trails and greenways; and providing educational and service opportunities to connect people with nature.

OUR VALUES

  • Respect the land, its stewards, and all people with whom we work.
  • Adhere to accredited land trust standards to ensure consistency and integrity in our work.
  • Cultivate a culture of acceptance, inclusivity, collaboration, and strong community connections.
  • Protect our longevity and mission by safeguarding the resources entrusted to us.
  • Use scientific knowledge and innovation as the foundation for protecting, stewarding, and restoring natural spaces.
  • Balance conservation with development to help ensure our community remains vibrant, healthy, and livable for future generations.
  • Inspire people through education and service to connect, appreciate, and enjoy the natural spaces around them.
