This is an additional work day at Beaty Park to try and cut back the invasive species.

Beaty Park is Davidson’s newest park and it’s a gorgeous space, but it needs a little love.  A number of invasive species are thriving under the tree canopy and choking out the biodiversity that makes an ecosystem healthy.  Members of the Friends of Beaty Park are holding two invasive species removal events to drive back the most problematic plants by pruning these scrubs and treating their stumps. If you would like to help, sign-up today. It promises to be a rewarding day in a beautiful place.  If you plan to attend, sign-up here: SIGN-UP GENIUS.  Email [email protected] with any questions.
