One of our most popular new programs last year was a week of summer camp offered through the Town of Davidson Parks and Recreation called CONSERVATION CAMP and we’re back again this year.  Over the course of five days we introduce our campers to each of DLCs pillars:  Land, trees, trails & greenways, and wildlife habitats and then on the fifth day we wrap it up with a super-fun field day.  We explore various parks and natural spaces around Davidson as we tromp down streams looking for salamanders and crawfish; hunt for Treasure Trees and learn all about what makes them special; and so much more.   Every day has a guest speaker, adventure, craft and small service project…plus some time to just explore the outdoors.  Each of our sessions sold out last year so if this is something your child would enjoy, make sure you sign-up as soon as the camp schedule goes live.

We are offering it from June 23-27 and then again July 21-25 from 9-noon each day.
