What a beautiful afternoon in Abersham Park October 21st! Thank you to all those who helped DLC celebrate Davidson’s recent designation as a Bee City USA. Phyllis Stiles, the founder of the Xerces Society’s programs Bee City USA, spoke with great passion about the interconnectedness of all kinds of pollinators and the plants they need to survive. We had lots of children making bug hats and studying bees, as well as a nature hike led by Dr. Mark Stanback and Rob Van Epps. So glad so many of you were able to join us! Many thanks, as well, to:
