Chemistry Magic Show!
The Davidson College ChemCats, a club for chemistry majors, truly WOWED families with a fantastic display of chemical reactions. Kids and parents had a blast playing with dry ice, smashing flowers that had been frozen in liquid nitrogen, watching fire turn beautiful colors in reaction with different elements, and even turning copper pennies silver and then into “gold”. The Davidson Lands Conservancy and World of Wonder would like to give a huge, heartfelt thanks to Dr. Mitch Anstey and the brilliant student scientists of the ChemCats for generously sharing their time and passion for science with us this past Sunday (April 7, 2019). 
It really was a great time!! My daughters had a blast. We can’t thank you enough for giving of your time to show our children the amazing world of science!!
