OUR FOURTH PILLAR OF CONSERVATION
EDUCATION & SERVICE
Connecting lives to nature is core to our mission. DLC offers a variety of educational programs throughout the year for people of all ages and abilities. More than 1,000 people participate in these programs each year as we continue to expand these efforts.
THE WHAT

Service and Stewardship – 20+ events in Davidson each year that educate volunteers about conservation while engaging them in projects like; park and trail maintenance, mulching, weeding, tree plantings, building benches and bridges and removing invasive species.
THE WHY
Education is the bridge between our community and the land. Each year, more than 1,000 participants join our programs to learn, grow, and serve together. We invest in these educational efforts because we know that when people of all generations understand the value of our natural resources, they are inspired to protect them for a lifetime.
CONSERVE LAND
Your land can make a big difference. And you might be surprised at how simple it is to ensure that your property is part of the conservation solution in Davidson.
VOLUNTEER
