Saturday, June 18, 10:00 -11:30

Woodland Discovery, 8755 Poplar Tent Drive, Concord

Join World of Wonder for an inside look inside the world of bees. We plan to open the beehive, take a look at the bee brood, and talk about the life and jobs of bees as they work together to ensure their colony survival. If the bees are not agitated, there may be a chance to “hold” the bee frame up close. (If the weather prevents us from opening the hive, we will notify everyone on the 18th by 8:00 a.m. to postpone the outing.)

This outing is for children and their families. The minimum age is 4 years old, although if there is someone to tend to distracted younger children, they can come as tag-alongs. Strollers might be good to help contain them. No dogs, please. Long pants and closed-toed shoes are a must for this outing.

Please read our waiver Here. By registering for this outing you are agreeing to its terms and conditions.  Pre-registration is required.  Click Here to sign up.  If you are unable to attend, please update your sign-up so another family may participate. Thank you!
