May is National Bike Month! Why not walk or bike for leisure, exercise, or to run errands around town? Walk or roll to this year’s, “All Around Town Day” on Saturday, May 1, visit www.townofdavidson.org/townday for a list of community service projects that will be held throughout town. On Saturday, May 8, join one of our guided greenway rides during the Lake Norman Bike Expo. Bring the whole family for the Family Bike Ride at 10:30 a.m. or the Kid’s Bike Rodeo which will be offered from 9:00 a.m. to noon. The event is free but pre-registration for the Community Bike Ride and the Family Bike Ride is required, sign up at www.townofdavidson.org/dpr A bike helmet is needed for all activities, if you are having difficulty affording a bike helmet for yourself or your child we may be able to help, please email our team at [email protected]
