Davidson Lands Conservancy Recognized for Accreditation Achievement at National Conference

Davidson Lands Conservancy was recognized as a newly accredited land trust at the Accreditation Awards Ceremony held during the 32nd annual Rally: The National Land Conservation Conference, Raleigh, NC, October 17-19.  Autumn Rierson Michael, Executive Director, accepted the award on behalf of DLC in recognition of this accreditation achievement.

Community Dinner at Summit Outpost: Fundraiser for DLC THIS WEDNESDAY!

Join us this Wednesday, July 31st from 5 to 8, at Summit Outpost (Campus location) for tacos, quesadillas, beverages, kids activities and FUN! Proceeds will benefit the Davidson Lands Conservancy and our efforts to preserve natural spaces through education, advocacy, and conservation.  We are so grateful to Summit Coffee for providing this wonderful opportunity

Apollo 11 anniversary and Stargazing Event were out of this world!

Much thanks to Professor Kristen Thompson of Davidson College and Professor Grant Thompson of Wingate University for their preparation and leading this enjoyable and educational event for WOW World of Wonder.   The activities included making name rockets with sticky foam cut outs.  For the second activity each child made asteroid imprints with marbles
