Both DLC and World of Wonder (WOW) had booths at Woodlawn School’s STEAMfest on Sunday, January 26. The event was free and open to the public and multiple buildings were filled with cool science activities for folks of all ages. DLC had a butterfly life cycle game for children to learn through play how important host plants are for pollinators. WOW had a fun activity where children were able to create wildlife tracks to match to local animals. We really appreciate the opportunity to bring nature-based learning to the STEAM model, so a big thanks to Woodlawn!
