(Ulmus americana)

This stately American Elm has endured reaching its majestic size despite the threat of Dutch elm disease. This tree was protected as two adjacent homes were moved from Main Street to Chairman Blake Drive in 2000 and now provides welcome shade to each of the front porches.

This tree was nominated by its owner in 2022. It is the highest-scoring American Elm in the program.
