Thanks so much to all who attended our DLC Annual Meeting on Sunday at the Pines! In addition to our annual business meeting, we welcomed new Board members, Cambria Nielsen and Tom Watson, and said goodbye to outgoing Board members Lyn Batty and June Kimmel. We also auctioned off several bird houses, including one built by our late Director, Roy Alexander. DLC gave its first Environmental Stewardship award to Mark Sullivan and the Tarheel Trailblazers for their tremendous trail work at Fisher Farm. Lastly, for those who braved the cold, Dr. Mark Stanback and Rob Van Epps led bird walks around the Pines campus. Thank you to our DLC Board members, friends, and volunteers who support us on an almost daily basis. Onward!
