The Board of Directors of Davidson Lands Conservancy announces that Executive Director Beth Wytiaz has decided to leave the organization in August.
During her leadership, Beth guided the organization through a period of significant growth and achievement. Highlights include celebrating the Conservancy’s 25th anniversary, adopting a new logo and updated mission, developing a new three-year strategic plan, strengthening systems and processes, increasing staff capacity, expanding service and education programs, adding conserved properties, and successfully meeting the Now & Forever Capital Campaign goal, and the organization is well positioned to complete some transformational conservation work later this year.
Beth shared: “Serving this organization and getting to know our supporters, volunteers, and partners has been a true honor. I am deeply grateful for your commitment to protecting the lands and natural places that make our community so special. While my role is changing, my belief in and support for Davidson Lands Conservancy remains strong, and I look forward to continuing my involvement as a committed volunteer and advocate.”
In the coming weeks, Board Chair Tom Shandley and Beth will work closely to ensure a smooth and thoughtful transition. The Executive Director position is posted in the PDF below and the organization is accepting applications through July 10.
